billing and credits

what the plan includes, how model credits are spent and topped up, and the limits that stop a run.

Running models, pixie turns, transcription and social posts spend your organization's credits. You see the balance, add to it and read every charge under Organization settings → Billing and Usage.

the plan

The Pro plan is $99/month and includes $100 of model credits each month. Plan credits reset to $100 at the start of each billing period, and unused plan credits don't roll over.

A new organization starts with $5 of trial credits and no subscription. Click Subscribe — $99/mo on Billing to start the plan; checkout opens inside ixi. After that the same card reads Pro — $99/month with a Manage button that opens the billing portal for card, invoices and cancelling.

Only owners and admins can subscribe, add credits or manage billing; see members and roles.

the balance

Credit balance shows what's left. When you've bought extra, it splits it: "from the plan · purchased". Spend comes out of plan credits first, so purchased credits last longest. Under it you'll see what was spent over the last 30 days and across how many runs.

Credit history lists the money in: the trial grant, each period's reset, and each top-up, with the date. Invoices (owners and admins) lists Stripe invoices, each with two icon links: a view link (tooltip View invoice) and a download link (tooltip Download PDF).

add credits

With a plan, Add credits appears. Pick $50, $100, $250, $500 or $1000, or type a whole-dollar amount from $50 to $1000, then click Add $n. Pay in the checkout window and the balance updates in seconds.

  • Top-ups carry over the monthly reset. Only unused plan credits expire.
  • Credits you buy don't expire. Without a plan you can't buy credits.

when credits run out

At zero, ixi stops starting model runs and pixie turns for that organization. A model run is refused with "Your organization is out of credits for this billing period" with a plan, or "Subscribe to keep running models" without one. A pixie answers the same way in chat, with a link to the billing panel.

Owners and admins get an email when the balance falls to 20% of the period's credits (never less than $1), and another when it hits zero. Add credits or wait for the monthly reset.

the usage tab
