wiki
a shared library of guides your team and its pixies read, write and keep up to date.
The wiki is your organization's library of guides: model techniques that worked, processes worth repeating, how a project is set up. People write them, and pixies read them before specialised work and write down what proves out.
browse and search
Open Organization settings → Wiki. The left side has Search guides… and a folder tree; the right side shows the selected guide, with its path, who updated it and when, and its tags.
Search matches both keywords and meaning, so "consistent faces" finds a guide titled "character creation". Results show the title and a snippet.
write a guide
- Click New guide.
- Fill in the path, the title, a one-line summary (shown in lists and search) and tags.
- Write the body in markdown and save.
A path is lowercase words and hyphens, split by slashes into folders, up to six levels: models/gpt-image-2/character-creation. Tags are comma separated, up to 20. A guide holds up to 200 KB.
Guides render images, video, audio and mermaid diagrams.
edit, history and delete
Edit opens the editor and takes an optional edit note. If someone saved a newer version while you were editing, you're offered Overwrite anyway or Discard my edit. History lists earlier versions so you can look at one and restore it. The bin icon deletes a guide.
what pixies do with it
Pixies on your org's canvases can:
- search your wiki and the global wiki before doing specialised work
- load a guide, which stays in their context on later turns (up to three guides at a time)
- write a new guide, or change part of an existing one, when you ask them to document what worked
Your wiki is private to the organization. Guide text never shows in a pixie's chat transcript, which only records that a guide was read. Don't expect to see a guide quoted back in chat.
the global wiki
ixi keeps a platform-wide library of guides on model techniques and processes. Every pixie can read it and cannot write to it; its paths start with global:. You don't browse it in settings: pixies use it for you.
limits & good to know
- Pixies can write to a wiki only on canvases that belong to an organization.
- Guide text is capped at 200 KB; put big media on a canvas and refer to it.
related
- skills and tools
- review and improve — fold a good run back into a guide.
